Hi, I’m Pragya! a certified newborn, maternity, and family photographer based in Sahakara Nagar, North Bangalore, previously running a busy newborn studio in Vancouver. I specialize in safe, minimal and emotive imagery for growing families who want their photos to feel calm, intimate and timeless.

From Vancouver to North Bangalore, my photography journey started in Canada, where I trained in newborn safety, posing, and studio lighting and built a full‑time studio serving families across Surrey, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Over the years, I photographed over 500 babies – watching many of “my” newborns come back as toddlers, big siblings, and school‑going kids.

When my family relocated to Bangalore, I brought the same global‑standard safety practices and soft, timeless style to a new boutique studio in North Bangalore. Today I serve families in Bangalore & beyond.

Outside the studio, you’ll usually find me with a cup of strong ginger chai (or a French vanilla nod to my Canadian years), enjoying Jain food, planning new setups and thinking about how to make each session even easier and more meaningful.

Watching the tiny newborns I once held so gently now grow into curious toddlers, playful little humans, and confident kindergarteners is something I can never fully put into words.

As a newborn photographer in Bangalore, I've had the privilege of capturing those first peaceful moments—babies wrapped in soft white fabric, sleeping so soundly, their little fingers curled in perfect trust.
